Auckland Lighting Specialists is a relatively young company having been established in November of 1998 as Auckland Lamp Specialists. Originally formed to supply specialised and difficult to find lamps and lighting requirements to a select clientele, ALS has now expanded to encompass a far broader range of services that covers electrical maintenance for large institutions, portable appliance testing, RCD safety testing, and new installations, through to complete set and power wiring and hire for Film and Advertising sets.

The Team Leaders are, Ken Tyree and Moses (Mohi) Mete who bring over 30 years of combined experience in the Electrical Industry that encompasses a huge range of electrical applications from general house and small commercial installations, to large high rise apartments/office blocks, from motorway lighting installation, and Hospital refurbishment's, through to the Sound & CCTV installation of the Aotea Centre and the complete refurbishment of the Auckland Museum.
